The Gurgaon police have recovered three partially burnt corpses from an isolated spot beside Helimandi-Mahchana road near Jatoli village on early Saturday morning.

GURGAON: The Gurgaon police have recovered three partially burnt corpses from an isolated spot beside Helimandi-Mahchana road near Jatoli village on early Saturday morning.
The police suspect that three had been murdered elsewhere and the bodies dumped and set on fire here to destroy evidence.
According to the police, some villagers noticed smoke at a distance and went closer to take a look at what’s going on.

It was then that they discovered the burnt bodies of three young men. The villagers informed the police at around 6 am, who then reached the spot.
All the three deceased had no clothes on them and their faces were badly burnt. Their identities are yet to be established.
The bodies also had over 50% burn injuries. Also, the police are yet to find any documents to establish where the victims could be from. The deceased were in the age group near 23 to 28 years. One of them has a heart-shaped tattoo on his right hand and “Rao” written in it. Another victim is almost six feet tall and had long hair, said the police.
A post-mortem has been conducted and the police are waiting for the reports. “We have registered a case of murder against unknown persons. Investigations are on,” said Hamid Akhtar DCP (South).
